Ayuda en Acción is an international organization that has been committed to fighting poverty, inequality, and exclusion since its inception in 1981. Our operations span across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and since 2013, also in Spain, focusing on regions and populations with heightened vulnerability and limited access to opportunities to exercise their rights equally and equitably.
As a non-denominational and non-partisan organization, we are dedicated to the values that stem from respect for Human Rights and believe in the need to foster changes that enable social justice by addressing the root causes of opportunity inequality, social exclusion, and poverty.
Since 2016, Ayuda en Acción has been implementing projects in Mozambique with various funders in the areas of youth and women's rights protection, economic opportunity creation, education, and humanitarian aid. These projects are funded both through our own resources and contributions from national and international agencies, and are implemented in the provinces of Cabo Delgado and Maputo. Ayuda en Acción employs a team of over 30 professionals in Mozambique dedicated to the aforementioned areas.
